These Cheddar Beef Bacon Potato Wedges are a mouthwatering combination of crispy potato wedges topped with savory beef, crispy bacon, and gooey melted cheddar cheese. Perfect for game day snacks or a fun movie night at home!

Ingredients

  • russet potatoes
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic powder
  • paprika
  • thick-cut bacon
  • lean ground beef
  • shredded cheddar cheese
  • chopped green onions or fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and scrub the russet potatoes thoroughly. Cut them into wedges (about 8 wedges per potato) and place them in a large bowl.
  3. Drizzle the potato wedges with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Toss them until they are evenly coated.
  4. Spread the seasoned potato wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
  5. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove it from the skillet and set it aside, leaving the rendered fat. In the same skillet, add the ground beef and cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and any additional spices you like.
  6. Once the beef is cooked, mix in the crispy bacon. Stir everything together until well combined.
  7. When the potato wedges are nearly done, take them out of the oven and sprinkle the beef and bacon mixture evenly over the wedges. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Once out of the oven, you can garnish with chopped green onions or fresh parsley for a pop of color. Serve hot and enjoy your Cheddar Beef Bacon Potato Wedges!

Nutrition

Keywords: For extra crispy wedges, cut the potatoes evenly. Soaking the cut potato wedges in cold water for at least 30 minutes before cooking helps remove excess starch for crispier wedges. Experiment with different types of cheese for varied flavors.
