- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2 cups frozen corn
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 bag frozen tater tots
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Taco seasoning (optional)
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until it’s nicely browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the frozen corn and seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder). Mix well and let it cook for about 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
- Reduce the heat to low and mix in the cream of mushroom soup, stirring until everything is well combined. Add in half of the cheddar cheese and mix until melted and creamy.
- Pour the beef mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread it evenly across the bottom. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
- Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer over the cheese.
- Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- Once done, allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving.
