This Chicken Cobbler Easy Family Dinner Casserole is a warm, comforting dish that brings everyone to the table with smiles and satisfied tummies. It’s simple to prepare and delivers a delightful combination of tender chicken, hearty vegetables, and a fluffy biscuit topping.

Ingredients

  • Cooked Chicken (shredded)
  • Frozen peas
  • Frozen carrots
  • Chicken Broth (low-sodium)
  • Bisquick Mix
  • Milk (whole or non-dairy)
  • Cheddar Cheese (sharp)
  • Garlic Powder
  • Onion Powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded cooked chicken, frozen peas and carrots, and any additional veggies you're using. Pour in the chicken broth and mix everything together. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
  3. Pour the chicken mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  4. In another bowl, mix the Bisquick mix, milk, and cheese until just combined. The batter should be somewhat thick.
  5. Spoon the cobbler batter over the chicken mixture. Don’t worry about spreading it out perfectly; it’ll spread as it bakes.
  6. Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the cobbler topping is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the topping comes out clean.
  7. Once done, allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving.
