Experience a delightful fusion of savory flavors with Garlic Soy Beef and Ramen Noodles. This quick and easy dish is perfect for busy weeknights, offering tender beef and perfectly cooked noodles in a rich garlic soy sauce.

Ingredients

  • Flank steak or sirloin (or any cut of beef)
  • Instant ramen noodles (or whole wheat or egg noodles as a substitute)
  • Fresh garlic (or garlic powder if in a pinch)
  • Low-sodium soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • Bell peppers
  • Broccoli
  • Snap peas
  • Sesame oil (or olive oil as a substitute)

Instructions

  1. Begin by slicing your beef thinly against the grain to ensure tenderness when cooked. Mince the garlic and chop your vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, keeping a bit of the noodle water for later.
  3. In a large skillet or wok, heat a tablespoon of sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add a bit more sesame oil if needed, then add minced garlic and your chopped vegetables. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Return the cooked beef to the skillet. Pour in the soy sauce and add a splash of the reserved noodle water to create a little sauce. Stir everything together for another 2 minutes.
  6. Finally, toss in the cooked ramen noodles, mixing well to coat them in the sauce. Cook for an additional minute or two until everything is heated through.
  7. Remove from heat, garnish with sesame seeds or sliced green onions if desired, and enjoy your Garlic Soy Beef and Ramen Noodles!
