This irresistible cinnamon donut bread is a delightful blend of buttery richness and cinnamon goodness, perfect for any time of the day. Each slice is a comforting treat that fills your home with love and nostalgia.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter (cooled)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 cup of granulated sugar, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, and 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the 2 large eggs, 1 cup of whole milk, and 1/2 cup of cooled melted butter until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just mixed.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula. Optionally, sprinkle some cinnamon sugar on top before baking.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with just a few moist crumbs attached.
  7. Once baked, remove the loaf from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
