  • Brewed Coffee
  • Gingerbread Extract
  • Non-Alcoholic Gin Flavoring/Botanical Extract
  • Heavy Cream

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Coffee Dip: Brew strong coffee and let it cool completely. Stir in the gingerbread extract and the non-alcoholic gin flavoring, mixing well.
  2. Make the Mascarpone Cream Base: In a large bowl, whisk egg yolks and granulated sugar together until pale and thick, about 3-5 minutes with an electric mixer.
  3. Fold in Mascarpone: Gently fold in the mascarpone cheese until just combined and smooth. Stir in a small amount of gingerbread extract and the non-alcoholic gin flavoring.
  4. Whip the Cream: In a separate cold bowl, whip the heavy cream until firm peaks form.
  5. Combine the Cream: Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone-egg yolk mixture in two or three additions.
  6. Assemble the Tiramisu: Dip ladyfingers quickly into the coffee mixture and arrange them in a single layer at the bottom of your dish.
  7. Layer the Cream: Spread half of the mascarpone cream evenly over the ladyfingers.
  8. Repeat Layers: Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers followed by the remaining mascarpone cream.
  9. Chill Thoroughly: Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 6-8 hours, preferably overnight.
  10. Garnish and Serve: Dust the top with unsweetened cocoa powder and optionally add candied ginger pieces, extra cinnamon, or orange zest.
