- Refrigerated or Frozen Cheese Tortellini
- Alfredo Sauce
- Fresh or Frozen Broccoli Florets
- Cooked Ground Beef (Optional, but highly recommended!)
- Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- Parmesan Cheese
- Garlic Powder
- Onion Powder
- Salt
- Black Pepper
- Chicken or Vegetable Broth (Non-Alcohol Alternative)
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add your cheese tortellini and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain the tortellini well and set aside.
- While the tortellini is cooking, prepare your broccoli. If using fresh broccoli, steam or blanch it for about 3-5 minutes until it's tender-crisp. If using frozen, steam it according to package directions or microwave it for a few minutes until it’s thawed and slightly tender. Drain any excess water.
- If you’re adding ground beef, brown about 1 pound of lean ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Break it up with a spoon as it cooks. Once fully cooked, drain off any excess fat and season the beef with a pinch of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- In a large mixing bowl, pour in your Alfredo sauce. Add the cooked ground beef (if using), the cooked and drained broccoli, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir everything together until well combined. If the sauce seems too thick, add a splash or two of chicken or vegetable broth.
- Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread about half of the cooked tortellini evenly over the bottom of the dish. Pour about half of your Alfredo and broccoli mixture over the tortellini, spreading it out. Sprinkle with about 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese and a generous dusting of Parmesan. Repeat with the remaining tortellini, then the rest of the Alfredo mixture. Top generously with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Place the baking dish in your preheated oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly around the edges and the cheese on top is melted, golden brown, and absolutely irresistible.
- Once out of the oven, let the bake rest for about 5-10 minutes before serving.

Keywords: You can enhance jarred Alfredo sauce by sautéing minced garlic in butter before adding the sauce. For a crispy topping, mix panko breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over the cheese before baking.
